http://foolocracy.com/2012/02/fbi-warns-that-anyone-overly-concerned-about-privacy-should-be-considered-suspicious/
"Some of the highlights from the flyer suggest that “acting nervous†or paying in cash are signs that a person
might be a fiendish terrorist. The FBI also warns loyal American patriots to be on the lookout for suspicious
communications like communicating through PC games. Downloading content with “radical themes†as well as
photos and transportation diagrams are something to be on the lookout for as well. Keep an eye on someone’s
shopping cart when they are purchasing online too because the online buying of fertilizer is suspicious.
Downloading police or government information are also signs of a terrorist mind at work. Someone who
lingers too long on news items about terrorism might be a terrorist as well."

Damnit! There goes my idea to transmit my evil terrorist attack plan as a spraypaint in some FPS game.

You could easily have your sister calm the fears of the FBI by telling them, upon her visiting the US, the clerk at a US store did not know how to make change for US currency. No need to fear cash transactions.

Why not, its all the rage! Its the old you-have-nothing-to-fear-if-you're-not-breaking-the-law which you have seen many times on this board to justify all sorts of threats to our liberty. The answer to that is no one is interfering with Americans' right to watching Dancing With Stars so all is well.

The government now thinks a free internet is the biggest threat to national security not terrorists. Groups like Anonymous just gives the government justification to crack down

By the way; There was an anti-ACTA demonstration in town on saturday, pretty funny too see.
About 200-250 people, mostly around the age 20, some carrying "Pirate party" flags and chanting, a few punks.
There was one punk in particular (sex pistols clothing, spiked hair, the works) kinda just walking next to the crowd with a cute cardboard sign saying:
"Leave my porn habits alone!"

Already posted this a while ago, but seems appropriate:
"An old Arab lived close to New York City for more than 40 years. He would have loved to plant potatoes in his garden, but he is alone, old and weak. His son is in college in Paris, so the old man sends him an e-mail. He explains the problem:
"Beloved son, I am very sad, because I can't plant potatoes in my garden. I am sure, if only you were here, you would help and dig up the garden for me.
I love you,
Your Father"
The following day, the old man receives a response e-mail from his son:
"Beloved Father,
Please don't touch the garden. It's there that I have hidden 'the THING'.
I love you, too,
Ahmed"
At 4pm the US Army, The Marines, the FBI, the CIA and the Rangers visit the house of the old man, take the whole garden apart, search every inch, but can't find anything. Disappointed they leave the house.
A day later, the old man receives another e-mail from his son.
"Beloved Father,
I hope the garden is dug up by now and you can plant your potatoes.
That's all I could do for you from here.
I love you,
Ahmed.""
