Oh I'm sure he has. A musician like that will own the first 5 Ramones albums without question. Anyone with any sense would for that matter.
A little known fact. Beethoven was a big fan of the Ramones. That's how he went deaf.

Wouldn't he have to remove about 4 of his 7 strings to play Ramones properly?

No you can safely ignore them. He'd have to learn bar chords though. At least 3.

I had a friend in the Army who could play this on an acoustic.
To my knowledge he was not a Ramones fan.
