I have been following closely and preaching this since 2009.
Its an absolute travesty that this is gaining only a fraction of the media attention it received under Bush.

The media is criminally irresponsible, has been for a very long time. The only thing you can do is share stuff like this with as many family members and friends as you can get to read it. And not waste time on the committed partisans whose dogma this threatens. Actually what I am going to do is print out a bunch of copies of this and hand them out to certain people.

The media's lack of coverage is directly tied to ratings, not politics.
The American Public doesn't care about Afghanistan anymore. So the news doesn't talk about it.
We should leave. Now. I don't care what President does it, just get it effing done.

I think our troops should wipe out another 40 or 50k insurgents that are trying to prove a point by hiding out in the mountains and planting IEDs all over the roads like a bunch of cowards.

Fox is just as complicit in the lack of Afghanistan coverage as anyone else.
Just look at the debates they've hosted.
The American people have lost interest. The news doesn't run stories that bore us, cause we change the channel when they do.

Our job should be to kill as many bad guys as we can. If the good people cannot rebuild their country on their own, our help at best just prolongs the false premise that they can. Our rules of engagement are always fubar because they are mainly set by politicians, which is imperfect but probably for the best.
