The republican primary is very different from the general election. It is more like playing dungeons and dragons. Delegates at the caucuses are chosen at the precinct level. These delegates do not need to bind themselves to any candidate. After the caucus it is on to the county convention where we begin determining the platform, planks and who will be delegates and alt delegates to the state conventions. The delegates are still not bound. At state they will determine who goes to the national convention. Where they are still unbound. These straw poll votes are meaningless and whatever delegate counts you get from the MSM are about as reliable as the other information they deceive the general public about.

Some good things came out of Ron Paul running. For one, he's not running for congress. A second is you can see who falls for populist drivel. Third you see why you should never live in Texas. He's the norm there, not the exception.

Obama supporters should continue to fight against Dr. Paul as if he wins he can handily beat Obama however Newt and Mitt have no chance to beat Obama without the RP supporters who will never support them.
