35 should be the voting age.
35 on the low end and 50 on the high end.
Old people have too much power in this country.

It's because we earned it and have the money to make sure others don't forget that.

Society tends to be more stable when the old hold the majority of the power.
Youth dominated societies are impulsive and confrontational. Just look at the middle east.

The limitation should be on noobishness and not age.
That way we could have screened out Obama.

An old man drove down the line on the highway yesterday. He was so old that he was stooped so he could barely see above the steering wheel. From his vantage point I'm surprised he could see the road at all.
For a brief moment I thought about seeing if I could hit his car in a way that would launch him into the ditch. I'll never understand why we don't pass some law making people over seventy test for their license every year.
70 might be a little young, but Illinois waits too long imho.

How often do I have to be tested to keep my driver's license?
A driver is required to take a written test at least once every eight years if traffic convictions have occurred. Everyone must have his or her vision screened when applying for a renewal, with the exception of Safe Driver Renewals. All persons age 75 or older must take a driving test at each renewal. Drivers age 81-86 must have their licenses renewed every two years, while persons age 87 and older must renew annually.

The elders holding the power and screwing over the younger ones is part of the problem in that area.

Most Middle-Eastern societies are fairly young. They have a surplus of disaffected youth which is why the area is so volatile right now. This makes it easy for terrorists groups to form and recruit, and it makes social uprisings more likely.
It won't be long before more revolts begin in Iran, and eventually they will be successful.
