Where I work I watch uniformed federal officers smoke right in front of the no smoking signs. When I transfer I'll talk more about this place.

 I'm not asking to be held in high esteem here, I just want basic human dignity. For some people, this is too much to ask for... It's not surprising that most of them smoke.

Smokers are pretty much by definition self-absorbed assholes who don't care about people around them. If they weren't they wouldn't smoke. At least not in public.
