Romney is the pill. I'm happy I'm on the same side Carville is. There is something which rings true from this keen progressive intellect.

Carville also said: "If Hillary (Clinton) gave up one of her balls and gave it to Obama, he'd have two."

Eventually, most of you conservatives will fall into line , like good little Republicans, and support Romney. Do your worst!

The base may dislike him, but Romney's the GOP Establishment Man.

And the conservative base always falls in line eventually like the good like sheeples that they are.

"So guys, this is where you are. You are going to nominate a politically detached candidate who speaks French, has Swiss bank accounts, lives in Massachusetts, went to Harvard, whose daddy was born in Mexico. Way to go! I'll check back with you boys after Mardi Gras."

When the Establishment super-PAC money in a given state tells voters what to do, Romney wins.

When the money's not around, Romney loses.

Therefore, Romney wins.

Republicans hate Romney for two reasons:

He is a moderate not a true conservative

He is not a Christian

I almost hurt myself laughing at this. Quoting Carville on this who championed Hillary, and then fell into line like a good trooper to support Obama.

"More than 2.6 million voters have cast ballots or caucused in the Republican nomination battle, and about 68 percent of them said they were “very conservative” or “somewhat conservative.”

"Of those conservative voters, Mr. Romney has won the backing of almost 37 percent, while Mr. Gingrich has won almost 35 percent. Former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania has received about 17 percent, while Rep. Ron Paul of Texas received about 9 percent."
