So many people want to legalize all drugs but some are just too destructive.

I was never a big fan of her music but she was popular and on the radio constantly during my formative years when radio still mattered. I can still hear one of her old songs and get that old stirring in my gut, again not because I loved the music but because I can still remember where I was and what I was doing back when that song was popular.

Before she screwed it up horribly.

Drugs aren't as destructive as ignorance and stupidity. We can fix one of those, and do it for a lot cheaper than the amount we spend to wage a war on freedom of choice and freedom over our bodies.

What is cocaine legal now?

I am always bothered by this type of ignorance. Legal doesn't equal safe or give it a green light.

Right now, drugs are illegal. There is a "War On Drugs". Our government is spending bjillions on the "War On Drugs". YET, you could go down to your local high school and score any drug you want.

Having drugs illegal is NOT working.

They should end the "War On Drugs"..... we lost. They should legalize all drugs across the board. Then take 0.002% of the money that was going to the "War On Drugs" and put it into education of drugs and rehabilitation. People are so ignorant they think pot is harmless

Education is power.

There will always be a small percentage of people that will do drugs whether they are educated about them or not. Those people should be able to get their drugs for free.

Sad.

Years ago I had a part time job selling junk at SeaWorld and the last show of the evening at Shamu Stadium was "Night Magic"....a show with lots of music and flashing lights and stuff. The finale was "I wanna dance with somebody" by Houston. I sold a shit ton of stuff during that song. Damn, that was a while ago....

Never really cared for her music, her personal life was a train wreck, but I still feel really bad to hear that she died. Guess her music was in the background of a really formative period of my life, even if I never listened to it on purpose.

RIP
