I'm sure the vast majority of people who said they supported Santorum .....don't know a god damn thing about him. That will change quickly now that he is getting talked about, and the support will vanish. The guy is too big of a nut case for any but the most deranged RWN to ever support if they actually know what the hell he is.
We are talking about a group of people who re-elected GWB and still have bumper stickers on their car proving it.

Obama should be sucking up to his base to get them to get off their asses and vote in November, not concerning himself with loony R's who are going to get 45% of the vote by virtue of the fact that they're the nominee.

If Santorum gets to be the repubs top name, once the 10,000 lights shine on his crazy during the final stages of the Amercan election circus, people will swing over even to Obama to get rid of this guy.
The lesser of two evils.
