And all of them look like they suck.
My droid 2 is dying on me and I don't want to dish out $200+ for the latest and greatest.
The droid 2 was great, but I've had too many problems t o consider upgrading to the 4. Droid Razr won't let me swap out batteries so that's out.
I can get the Thunderbolt for 100 but that seems really bulky.
I could get the iphone, but coming from androids free market and operating system, I'd hate iOS. I hate iTunes as it is. Not to mention same problem of not having a removable battery.
That leaves me with, what? The Galaxy Nexus for $200? I might just bite the bullet.

BTW, why not the razr?
I think that's the front runner for me right now.

He said because you can't swap the battery.
That also eliminates the Droid 4.
Galaxy Nexus is your best bet, plus it has an unlocked boot loader so you can run custom kernels and roms without the need for safe/boot strapping
Another good choice from what I've read is the HTC Rezound. Again, unlocked.
I have a droid bionic, and while I like the hardware, unless Moto stops locking their phones down I won't buy another Motorola product again.

Razr won't let me replace the battery, which is crucial for me. I'm just doing some internet research right now, I think handling them will make a large impact.

Good discussion. I've not bothered to research the last year.
I'm probably leaning toward the Nexus as well then, based on just the battery and the unlock issues.
Motorola bloatware is a PITA.

I am too poor with too few friends to have such a great phone. For me the best things is the GPS> I use that at work!

Rezound looks pretty cool too.
I was wrong on prices. Galaxy is 300, the Rezound is 2. 200 is probably what I can get away with paying on my budget. It'll hurt but I can manage.
