He wasn't "fired". Fox Business simply cut all of their non-business programming in an effort to try to do something different to get their ratings up. He is still going to have regular appearances on various Fox News and Fox Business shows, he just doesn't have his own show anymore.

I never EVER watch that show, but for some odd reason I was at my parents' house and saw it on there. I watched that exact segment (in the youtube link).
I was shocked something so correct could possibly be aired. It smelled like a swan song from someone who already knew they were on the way out, and decided to "call it like it is"... which does not play into the required red-vs-blue sports-ificiation of politics.
So, overall I'm not shocked to hear he's been canned or shoved to the side.

Fox business seems libertarian, with all the Stossel and Judge.
But yeah that segment had no bearing on him being "fired." Which he wasn't his show was canx but he'll continue to appear on other fox programs like he always has.

That doesn't invalidate what I was saying... my guess is he seemed to have an inkling he'd lose his platform (this was a couple weeks ago I think) and decided to say what's on his mind.
