No, but good reasons for them to cut off the internet for their people. Block outside sources of information and make people depend on inland sources (read: controlled by the Iranian government) and scream through all channels that it's some outside force doing it, so people won't blame said government. Convince enough of your people and you won't get social unrest and instead have them stand united behind their government the moment a war starts

Blames the West.
Uses previous responsibility claim as an alibi for present cut.

Who benefits from a general Iranian loss of information? Those standing on the side of freedom, or the government that literally stole the last election?

By the way, the US has admitted to cyber attacks on Iran in the past, so by your logic, the West couldn't have done it either or they'd have copped to it.
