Come to think of it, I just finished ME2 and had to break up a fight between Jack and Miranda. I took Jack's side and Miranda was pissed off at me for the rest of the game.
It works in reverse as well.
I chose Miranda as she was hotter. Jack wouldn't talk to me after that.

If your paragon / renegade points are high enough (super dooper high), you can defuse the whole situation and get to pick either one of them. Jack cries when you bone her btw.

Yeah, I kept going back to Miranda's office hoping my points would be high enough to enable one of the other conversation options but it never happened.

Thankfully I am low enough level that I only have to deal with one companion and he is hella easy to make happy.
All he wants me to do is kill everyone and everything so as long as guide my conversations like I am the baddest mofo out there I get constant affection gains.

That is some super low-rez lazy texturing on those character models. You can still keep your lines crisp even with smaller pixel sized images.

I have an old Fishhead companion, too. He is very low maintenance. I log him on and he says: Not so much fighting today, OK? Or he comes back from a mission and tells me: "That was a lot of hard work." Im excellent at giving affection gifts. I can make the 1000 points back easy. I guess i just have to choose one. I can do that. Risha is prettier. But Akaavi is kinky.
