They manage to combine Islam - which scares RWNs - with brotherhood - which also scares RWNs because it sounds communist and maybe also kinda gay.
The only way they could have made their name better at scaring RWNs is if they were called the "Black Muslim Brotherhood."

I think it has less to do with their name and more the fact that in most...*not all*...countries they have chapters that are tied directly to Jihadist fundamentalism and terrorist activity.
