Here is the core issue. This game just started 2 months ago. How long did it take WOW, Everquest, DAOC to fully develop their worlds? You have to give these developers some time to develop content. i remember Spraggons everywhere in DAOC. Wtf are you kidding? You just painted the Spragoons red in this zone and called them something else.
I played Huttball for the first time last night at lvl 49. I PvP'd in Rift all of the time. In this game I concentrated on PvE. I enjoyed Huttball. You have an announcer encouraging you to kill and maim each other. How fun is that? It is easy to be critical of any MMO. I think this one is a winner. you can play the storyline for other classes to the end.

Ehhh. It doesn't bother me that much. These games are all grinds to one degree or another. It just depends how enjoyable the grind is and how good the carrots are. Personally, after getting to 50, I find it a bit soothing to know there are repeatable, fairly easy quest to do. If I'm in the mood, I do them. Or, if I only have a bit of time, I know running a couple of the dailies is a productive use of time.
Would I like hundreds of hours of tough, innovative, ever-changing, rewarding end game content? Well, d'uh. But, amongst alternatives, a small, quick set of repeatable is a reasonable thing to have in the game. I prefer that to all of a sudden, everything requires a well equipped group and there's nothing useful you ca do solo, which is the end game for many games.

It's kind of crazy how MMO's haven't evolved better game mechanics since everquest. The original diablo was onto something with randomized dungeons and that was over 15 years ago, but somehow developers can't seem to get it done. End games are all the same gear grab, more or less. Oh well.

I'm only level 17 right now but it's been fun so far. One thing that is nice, is that if I get bored of doing normal quests I can do the space missions. They are good exp and aren't boring.

I love dungeon crawling. A close group of friends taking on epic dungeons is something I enjoy. I have enjoyed dungeon crawls since Ultima Online. If there are enough dungeons (instances) then they can be the same. In SWTOR they have Flashpoints. All I am saying is give games time.

For about an hour.
Then you realize there's only 2 missions per level bracket and most of them are repeats of the same mission type and they're exactly the same every time.
Space missions are a good example of SWTOR's strengths and weaknesses. They look pretty and they're fun the first time but quickly get dull. I can literally do some of them in my sleep by now.
The good part of the game is the bit that's story focused. But unfortunately that doesn't map onto end-game well at all.

Grats Mo!! I hope I can get some game time in this weekend. I have 2 in the high 30's. My heal spec trooper is weak soloing elites now. Even lower level ones. My heal Sorc still is a breeze to play. And then there are my Empire alts...
I have spent most time lately just crafting just to see if it was at all worth it in any craft.

im stalled at 33.
pvp rank is capped out. i already own a battlemaster speeder, an epic battle master gear bag, 1000 merc tokens and 1000 BG tokens and everything else i could ever possibly need at my level, including my companion being maxed out with pvp gear.
im debating on whether or not to cancel.
i really hate hutball.
