I'm not entirely certain what islam has to do with this..Nepal is overwhelmingly hindu and buddhist.

Out of the mainstream religions it's the one who is acting the most crazy, right now..
My point being that all religions has this tenacity to inspire people to acts of incredible cruelty, just like extreme political ideologies.

Poor lady. She was probably only guilty of herb growing or something like that..and they placed blame on her for all the bad in their village. What a horrible way to die.
