GAME OF THE YEAR!

The game was probably sluggish for me because of debug code still in the game I bet

"Specifically they need to iron out the game's performance issues. I played on my powerful desktop PC and a capable gaming laptop, both of which struggled with the game on anything other than the lowest graphics settings. Cranking up the quality resulted in horrid frame rates, and massive world versus world battles between dozens of characters caused both systems to slow to a crawl. ArenaNet just needs to fine tune the game's engine, finding the right balance between beauty and playability."

tenkly, your credibility is about nil for game recommendations.

STFU every game I mentioned has been great. The only one that fell short was rift and only in end game.

My taste in games is excellent.

I couldn't speak for non-MMO, but your MMO judgement is pisspoor, as I've said many times before. Although to be fair, you pretty much jump on every bandwagon as it comes along, so you are bound to get it right eventually.

I am watching GW2 closely, but I think it might not be exactly what many people are expecting.

They've explained almost everything pretty well. For me when the devs cite tf2 and daoc as their favorite games they draw inspiration for, that's good enough for me. You can see all the influences from both as well.

Care less about all the talk. Launch is what matters. If its crap its crap. Right now means nothing.

Right now means everything, from a business perspective.

For them yes. But to me, I dont care if launch is 10 years out, if the game sucks it sucks, right now its still in the drawing board stages pretty much. Take your time and make sure everything is right, no glitches, balanced as much as possible, plenty of things to do to cater to all play styles and it should do pretty decent. I'm more interested in what PVP is going to be like. I hate pve so thats all im interested in.
