I remember that game... it was fun shiznit... but it went nowhere after Tribes 1.
It was one of those games where having too many modded versions actually hurt it. You couldn't find a base game to save your life so newcomers got scared off.
That and cheating was so rampant that the game eventually became unplayable.
Of all the multiplayer FPS's I've played though Tribes I was my favorite. That disc gun was awesome and had unlimited range. I loved getting dolled up in Heavy Armor and setting up turrets and defending the base. Good times!
