I saw the Devil shows some pretty horrible things. Torturous Bisections and rape.

Everything seems to overdo the drama in Korea. Korean TV shows are all like that too. Maybe the reason the North Koreans can be controlled so easily is that there's no cultural lexicon of irony or cynicism?

Best Korean film I've seen is Joint Security Area. If Kim Jung Il ever saw it, he probably cried.

It's kind of like Seven if instead of shooting John Doe at the end Brad Pitt had let him go and then spent the next month terrorizing the crap out of him. I don't recall any Saw-esque scenes.

The Man From Nowhere was a great movie... We also liked Le Grand Chef 2: Kimchi Battle. It was a good family movie.

My wifey is Korean and she enjoys the Korean shows/movies available for instant play.

korean movies need to show more boobs

some of the tv shows are fun (if you can handle the drama) they all seem to have the same character type which annoyed me at first but then became entertaining.

- the super bitch rich family matriarch that doesnt approve and is easily shocked

- the poor guy/girl that is tough and witty

- the conspiring bad guy who always looks evil (comes with own music)

- the super hot bad girl that tries to ruin everything
