LOTS of grumbling about refunds going on...
People are waiting like 1 month and still no refunds.
Where's my refund website is broke for about 60% of tax payers...
This a shell game till more funds come in?

That would be hilarious but implausible since our bonds are still in demand. more likely that cuts have caused a slowdown or new systems that weren't ready for the inflow.

Yeah I am getting a lot of calls from clients that have had their return been accepted and still no check. Some states are out of money. I was just told yesterday by a client that RI is out of money and delaying checks. California did it either last year or the year before.

I laughed.
I got my refund already. Did my taxes on the 11th which was a Saturday and got the refund this past Friday.

Lucky you..I did mine the 3rd..was accepted by the IRS..and nada on thier website.
Yes I know..I should be doing my taxes where I dont get a refund, but I enjoy the fat check..

I got my federal last week but my state hasn't sent my money yet (NY).

Wow that is bad. I guess I got lucky then.
By the sounds of things I am glad I wasn't expecting any money from the state (CA) cause I probably would be waiting still.
Not hurting my feelings about getting any refunds. The last few years income has been mainly a wash come tax time but since I've been married and my wife is attending veterinary school we get big refund checks.
