It's not exactly as if Cincinnati is notable enough for people outside of the region to know where it is. 
It sits on the Ohio River where Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana converge. There are still very old houses and churches in the Northern KY area with secret dugouts in their cellars where slaves on the underground railroad were hidden before crossing into Cincinnati.
Sadly, I've spent time in Columbus, Louisville and Evansville. And Cinci has the Flying Pig, so it is rather famous.

Well if you ever went from Columbus to Louisville via I-71 you passed through Cincinnati and over the river into Northern Kentucky. I could have watched you cross that bridge from my front porch.

I think the creepier thought would be that using that information you could narrow the location of his house down a great deal.
