Within 4 minutes of tuning into this NEWS channel as I'm channel surfing, as I'm watching their defined NEWS segment:
"I agree, we need to get more pro-active with our laws in this regard."
<30 seconds later, next "interviewee". There are only two.>
"We need to pass some laws at the federal level to deal with this."
OK. Guess what "News" network I was watching. You know there are only 2 valid choices...

I surfed this network maybe three or four times a week during their "news" segments.
Now, I've officially sworn off even them after seeing this stunt about 6 times now in the last few months. I'll be removing it from my channel listings at this point.
Interestingly, the financial networks are becoming my better source of political and even social news. They are the last ones who have an INCENTIVE to be unbiased because business interests can (and do) play both sides of the morality/statist/tariff plays.

Given that the OP mentions passing laws, I would guess it was some liberal nanny state news channel.
Although the topic was sex oriented, so it could have been some conservative legislate the bedroom news channel as well.
