Short of some dramatic conversion experience I don't see how I could conciously decide to believe in God.

When I was a drunk I didn't believe in God. In order for me to get sober they said I had too. I wanted sobriety. So I set out to look for proof that God existed. I found my proof and now I believe.
So you're not strong enough by yourself to control your addiction, you need a crutch to lean on.. Your excuse for this thread is that you're a weakling so everyone else has to be just as impotent as you?

Never done drugs. Never smoked. Never drank alcohol while underage. Never drank alcohol to the point of being drunk. Don't believe in God.
