And why do atheists always have to make it known to everyone that they are atheists?
Apparently your experience differs from mine - perhaps its that I live in the 'Bible belt' - but most atheists I've known don't bring it up in conversation, they only discuss it if it's brought up by another. Most Christians I've met are quite proud to say it to near-strangers, post it publicly on their facebook wall, have bumper stickers on their car, and so on. I've even seen them bluntly walk up and stop someone they knew to ask if they believed in God.

Im not an athiest .. But its clear that there is no proof of any jesus miracle.
The stories about jesus are just stories, they are all quite a bit twisted from reality.
Anyway , people have been looking for proof of god, ghosts, angels, aliens, etc.. Since the concept first arose - and there is still no proof. People have been able to create machines that fly, nuclear bombs, computers but still no proof of aliens, ghosts, god, etc.. And its not for lack of trying - these things have captured our imagination ever since we asked the question 'why are we here'?

The third largest stance on religion is atheism/agnosticism.
People in the west care less and less about religion and god, if we continnue to evolve our societies and improve the lives of the citizenry god and religion will have died out.
Hell in Europe there is talk of religion having died out by 2040 or so, with countries like Sweden leading the pack at around 85% agnostics and atheists.
I think this is just the natural order of things, if your life is crap you need something to get your hope up to get you going.. If your life isn't hard, fulfilled and happy you won't need the social crutch that religion is.
All the emotional anxieties that religion claim to cure can just as easily be dealt by by therapists and much more efficiently so.
Religion is just obsolete in the civilized world, and it will go the way of the dodo.
Gentlemen you are soon to be relics, enjoy obscurity.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't want anyone to change their belief system. I believe what I feel to be right; I expect most people do so. It's not my job to change anyone else's mind, they should decide for themselves.
My only dispute is the difference between fact and belief.
[Edit:]Speaking of facts, can you support your statement of 75% with a broad poll containing multiple countries, specifically China? Possibly the continent of Africa? I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure most people who believe in a Christian-esque God as described in the Bible live in the Americas and Europe, and the last poll I saw had a significantly lower showing than that as actually describing themselves as people of faith.

The -esque suffix is obviously lost on you. As in, a single God, rather than polytheism or figures such as Buddha. One edit, not plural, and when someone makes a claim like '75% of all humanity' it's generally important to, you know, actually include the majority of humanity in the list.
As for minority/abnormal, I could care less. I don't have to believe what the majority of other people believe, just because that's what they believe. That's called peer pressure, not belief. I also never made any claim of being majority, or normal - that was asserted by you, and you alone. Thanks for your concern, though.

Tbh I only make fun of Gawdbelievers on the Outpost!
In real life I don't want to hurt or send the general theist into breakdown to prove a point, much like I don't harass patients at a mental facility, or preschoolers, it's just heartless and has little result.
