Clear Channel wouldn't ax Limbaugh if he cut babies in half and ate their livers live on the air. They would lose 50 million a year to keep him on, it's not about profit with them, it's about politics.
Anyway, they make a TON of money off Limbaugh that has nothing to do with advertisers.

Found numerous stories about 9 advertisers pulling out, found numerous lists of "top advertisers" (which included the 9 in most cases).
Found none that state 9 of 15. So my previous statement is unfounded in verifiable fact at this time....I'll look around a bit later, but gonna go play video games now. MY bad.

I was in my car @ 11:20am cst going to Dicks Sporting Goods. I had it on AM from the morning show in Austin I listen to. He was in full /meltdown.
