I'd rather listen to Rush. He is more honest then Nyetinwahoo.

It's pretty clear that Israel is building their case for the military option, as the US did in the lead up to the attack on Iraq. It might not necessarily go to the UN, but they are speaking of a military strike almost as a certainty, and even Obama is acknowledging it, saying there is a 'window' of opportunity. Israel's message was the same, essentially, to Canada.

A military strike, by Israel alone, will happen this year. Probably in the next three months.

Who knows what happens after that?

Why would they go to the U.N. they know it won't do any good.

Nothing helps more than a STRONGLY WORDED LETTER that failure to comply will result in EVEN MORE STRONGLY WORDED LETTERS.

It's not so much that as it is, Israel has violated more UN sanctions than any other nation. The US is the only country that votes with Israel on a ton of these issues. If it were not for the US, the world would have tried to flatten them for what they have done. It would literally do no good what so ever in any way for Israel to go to the UN to get approval for strikes. It would never fly... Everyone would vote against it except the US and Israel and it would fail.

No - they have to do what they have to do. The UN allows a nation to defend itself - and that will be put to the test, yet again (US against Iraq)...

That's the thing. UN sanctions mean nothing. No one takes them serious anymore.
