Taxes are not forced. You agree to pay them by living here. If you don't agree, you have the freedom to vote those who created a tax out of office. Or you have the freedom to leave that state or the country. And, conservatives create taxes also, it is not a liberal creation.

No one is being paid not to work. They are being given assistance until they can find work. Both conservatives and liberals have made mistakes here, and also tried to fix the abuses that occur. Simply taking it away might be your ideology here, but that is also imposing unheard of misery while putting you head in the sand on the issue.
Conservatives give money to their 'friends' to 'fix' things as well.
