Not to mention that both the leaders of the zerg have been killed in the games. So there's that.

An MMO needs an actual lore, so no.
Now a polished Warhammer 40k MMO, that'd be something.

lol SC has tons of lore. You would just have to set the game's timeline up somewhere in the middle of all the wars rather than at the end of the campaign missions in SC2. It could be done.
