And so overdue. I never thought it was going to happen tbh.

There is no kind of person more loathsome than the one who lords it over you about just how more morally superior they are than you. And that was the whole point of *spoiler*'s character. Not to do any good... but to make everyone else feel morally inferior, and just sit there and stare at them whenever they had to do anything that actually saved the group because, gee, it's so much easier to pass judgement on people than actually help them.

Thumbs up to the new show-runners. This season is questionable, but getting rid of that horrible character earns the Phlegm Creepy 5-star Award.

Agree!

It actually works into the storyline that the one person who stood completely on his moral principles and was essentially unchanged by the events died because of those same convictions.

The show is not about zombies. The show is about the breakdown of society and it's effects on the survivors.

Rick is changing and evolving (devolving?) as the situations require.

The old dude stood completely on principle and ended up as zombie poop.

There is a deeper meaning here people! We're through the rabbit hole!

Yeah I was kind of hoping that this is just showing the good parts of the characters waste away slowly until they are in ultra survival mode. Then they go around raping/pillaging.

On the show they never use the word "zombie".

I just can't believe that kid locked up in the shed got away when the Dale situation unfolded. Wonder if he's going to go back to his posse and tell them about the farm.

They didn't say whether or not that dude got away, but I thought it was likely he would.

They should have left that guy on the spikey fence, taken his guns and ammo and left. Rick is trying to be a good guy but he's an idiot sometimes.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

The only moral question should have been whether or not he deserved one of your precious bullets before you left.

Damn, I was hoping the kid had bought the farm when I read this thread title. Good episode though.
