I'd love to see him with the Seahawks but I do not see why he'd come here. In the end he has ties to the Miami area and I am guessing that may help them.
If I was him I would want to be with a solid offensive line. On paper I'd say he would do the best with Houston, though why anyone would want to live, work, visit, or play in Texas is beyond me.

There is no doubt that Manning was a great player. At age 36 and two cuts on the neck it is unlikely he will be a starter on a good team again. I would pick him up just to teach if nothing else. That said there have been people who have suprised us in the past. Only time will tell.

If I just wanted him around to teach I'd offer him a job as quarterbacks coach for about 1/20th the salary he will command as a player.
I assume that he has to pass some sort of physical before any new team will sign him, but that is an assumption.

They don't, a "source" inside the team said that since D'Brickashaw Ferguson re-worked his contract there wouldn't be enough to sign Manning. Besides I would hope that they learned their lesson after the Favre debacle.
I bet he goes to Arizona, Washington or Seattle.

Let me understand this, Miami had a chance at Drew Brees after his shoulder surgery, but passed.
Now they want Peyton, after what 3-4 neck surgeries and 36 years old.
Someone please explain.
