That's Padma Lakshmi and her husband Salman Rushdi. She was a super model when she married him and they have since divorced. She says she still misses him. The scar is from a car accident when she was young and wears it as a badge of pride and refuses to cover it up with make-up or plastic surgery.
She is now the host of Top Chef is an incredibly intelligent, articulate woman.
On one Q&A when asked which of the hot contestants she would have liked to date had circumstances been different, she named a hot blond female contestant who looked like a prettier version of Jennifer Aniston but with bigger boobs.
Padma is completely yummy in every sense of the word.

I've dated women for sex only but never anyone that I just didn't want to be with. I've turned down a "sure thing" on a few occasions when the women were just not people I wanted to be around or deal with - and that has little to do with physical stuff btw. I'm not overly hung up on physical appearance - don't get me wrong, there has to be SOME physical attraction, but my margin for physical attraction is fairly "forgiving" by many peoples' standards, and of course, personality can make an otherwise physically unattractive woman be QUITE attractive, and it can make an otherwise VERY physically attractive woman become equally UNattractive...
