Yeah living in the far north sucks.. I can't glide around in a pair of shorts a button down and flip flops all year round.

I grew up in N.Y. which isn't even close to anything you see cold-wise, but I hated the winters so I moved to where it was warmer.

I grew up in N.Y. which isn't even close to anything you see cold-wise, but I hated the winters so I moved to where it was warmer.
I grew up 100 kilometer north of the polar circle I now live in Stockholm.. You can't really live further north then that without pumping into the north pole.

Nawh it was actually kind of great, grew up in a huge house with a huge lawn.. Went skiing and snowboarding in the winters.. Spent the summers either fishing in the streams did a lot of hunting in the fall kinda sucked as a teenager..
My mom still lives there so it's great to be able to come home my closest friend also has his parents house there so we both usually take a week of our jobs and meet up in the north, even better since his parents don't live there so we can have these huge parties and BBQ sessions, sauna by a river and during the winters we have this huge tub which you warm up from underneath with fire it's like sitting in a huge cauldron. Sun never sets in the summer too which is pretty awesome.
