From what I read they mostly spent it on themselves. It was a scam from the start. The only think that will keep them out of jail is Holder blocking it or a really good CYA paper pusher. Only time will tell.
What Obama never tell people is we need a constant flow of energy. When the sun goes down or the wind stops blowing you are SOL. SOL, that is what we will be if Obama is reelected.
So we need an alternate form of energy? !@#@!~$#@ yes! What we have is not it and will never be it. As is normal government is pushing what we have; working or not. It will likely be a private party what invents what we need, if it is possible at all.

I read something last year that we should expect almost nothing from the asset sale. The article said that was due to most of solyndra's hardware was highly customized to create their product. The fall in the cost of solar panel production made their product uncompetative....and since nobody would want customer parts to build products that cant compete, most of their big dollar investments were worth scrap value.
I believe this is still the only bankruptcy in America over the last few years. At least thats what the GOP keeps telling us.
