Yeah, he tends to be scarce during the tax season. Unlike other non-government lawyers we've had around here, I think he's a bit more sensitive to the whole notion of being called out for posting while on billable hours.

Well he's a partner so he could just not bill for time spent posting. Although if you are working 12 hours a day I can see why you wouldn't want to be at work one minute longer than you needed to be.

This is tax season. I work with a Wharton school CPA Loyola attorney and they dont really do a lot of tax preparation work during tax season. I dont know about Baym. He may, although attorneys prepping the returns are atypical. It is usually a CPA doing the work.
I thought many of you might have been unduly harsh on Baym. But, I tend to put myself in others shoes.

Maybe he has a big case or something with a client.
Though he did seem to be getting more butthurt than usual before he disappeared.
I suspect he melted down and decided to run away. It wouldn't be the first time.
