the conference was terrible this year. smacking the retarded kid doesn't earn you any points. especially when your underachieving team barely made it in with far more talent than any pac12 team had.

Missouri and Baylor are exciting to watch this year. I can't stand Kansas and hope they go out first round. Texas just disappointed me all season, never seemed like they could get over the hump.
As for the PAC-12, no one acted like they wanted to win this year, it was really weird, usually there are 1 or 2 good teams vying for the title. This year it was kinda like, "meh, you take it!"

the pac just didn't have the talent. arizona lost their top 3 players from last year. ucla was playing fatboy josh smith, a JC transfer point guard, and two retarded white kid castoffs from north carolina. washington is so poorly coached that it doesn't matter how good their team is. cal was decent compared to everyone else but nowhere near the talent a top pac12 team usually has.
arizona, ucla, and colorado have good recruiting classes next year. everyone else will probably suck again.
