I like run through pork, fish, beef, chicken and pasta over the spece of a week.
Coupled with rice, mushrooms, vegetables, fruits, nuts and suitable condiments, those basics give you quite a variety without overdoing any one thing.
Pork chops, ribs, loins, sausages and stews.
Beef steaks, roasts and stews.
Chicken breasts, legs, wings, whole roasters and stews.
Pasta as in too many ways to list.
Vegetables are staples like broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, asparagus, tomato, lettuce, spinach etc.
Eating well and wisely isn't hard - finding the time is a LOT easier when you are retired.
