The US should start hoarding things that matter to other countries imo.

The problem with that is that the Chinese have the money to outlast us.

China is definitely cheating the system, though, and it needs to be addressed. They are doing with this multiple resources all over the world.

As a side note, Afghanistan may have as much as $1T (yes, trillion) in rare earth resources. You can bet that the Chinese are already salivating at the thought of controlling it.
