I mean, sure he's annoying...but JarJar was more annoying in 10 minutes of screen time than C3PO was in the entire series. Very few times in my life have I wanted to punch something that wasn't real quite so badly.

Sadly, all the protocol droids share his 'features' (once he's 'completed' by Anakin, anyway). It's not specific to C3PO.
