There is no possible way for Santorum to win the delegates prior to the convention.
It will be difficult (but not impossible) for Romney to win enough delegates to lock it up prior to the convention.
So we go into the convention with Santorum ballpark 500ish delegates and Romney with 1000ish delegates.
After the first vote, the horse trading begins.
Do you really see Santorum able to convince 600+ delegates to jump his way? Or do you think it more likely Romney will be able to convince 100 or less to vote for him instead?

Santorum will have his and Gingrich's delegates... they're essentially all the "anti-Romney" block.
I'll throw out the few Paul has as neither Romney nor Santorum... they'll spread around.
As already stated. Obama SHOULDN'T have been nominated, much less elected, but there you go.

It's a good thing that rank-n-file voters won't be delegates at the convention then 'eh?.
They'll mostly be die-hard political operatives.
Barring a Lewinsky-type surprise for Romney I have absolutely no doubt at this point that if they all go in to the convention without the votes needed to lock it up that Romney will leave the convention as the nominee.

None of the other guys were going to win anyways so they're all just competing for the right to lose to Obama.
