Nearly a dozen veterans went to the door and aimed to take it down.
"No. This is private property. This is private property. You're not allowed to touch anything. I'll call the police," Democratic Party chairwoman Nancy Hulbert said. "Just went online. Just went online and looked up the flag code. There is no higher-up in Lake County. I'm responsible. I take responsibility."
The flag, which features a picture of President Obama, was taken down Tuesday afternoon.

Is it still an American flag if it doesn't have the stars on it? Doesn't it have to have the stars and bars on it to be an American Flag? I don't understand the outrage.

They probably have their reasons for being upset. Probably reminds them of fascism.

Agreed.
It doesn't say anywhere that any veteran touched the flag property of the Democrat party.
Just wanted to clarify whose flag it belonged to flying over the Democrat Party's property.
The veterans merely knocked on the door and pointed out the irony.

I didn't realize we advocated vigilante justice for violating flag etiquette. Are these proud patriots going to run around and rip the American flag mesh shirts off of hillbillies or the hats and tshirts on Teahadists?
