I went to REI because my USA made Keens were wearing out once a year. The salesman recommended these Lowa Renegades. He says i should get 4-8 years on them. He says they can be resoled.
 Their 20% sale is coming up at the end of March. That means $44.00 off of these-good deal-good boot.

docs used to last me 4 years, no problem when i wrenched on car.
anything else i ever tried wore out in 6 months or less

save money and get shoes with a lifetime guarantee.
my brother got a pair of shoes from American Eagle ( or something like that )
and he wore them out in a year...
and they replaced them for free...
he did that about 4 times.
[EDIT] i bet REI, Eddie Bauer or something like that has a similar deal.

my boots for work cost like 350 bucks. But man they are comfortable and last 2-2 1/2 years after all weather and terrain and only need to be resoled.
