People know that cigarettes are bad because the information was made available. Nothing you're saying is supported by anything. You're talking out of yours ass. Smoking rates are at historic lows
The anti-smoking information campaign has been a huge success. It's too bad we don't use a similar tactic with other drugs.

I remember my friends son wanted to rebel when he was 12, he came in and declared he was going to buy a Marilyn Manson CD and his dad told him not to do that. He got a grin on his face but it disappeared when he said "either your uncle Bonzo or I will loan it to you, between us we have all of them".

I really dont like scare tactics and alarmism no matter what the reason.
Failed campaign? Isn't smoking levels close to an all time low?

As long as you are talking about George Carlin and not Grilled Cheese I can agree with you. Maybe not the smartest, but he was one sharp mother.
