The $60 models do not work that great but they do work.IMO build a light bulb vape until you are rdy to fork over $120-250....even as high as $650 for a volcano[180 for a purple days is the best and most efficient for personal use].
I don't think this is the best place to give out info of that type however this is a great place and you'll find or can ask for all the info you'll need.

Are you sure you are giving it enough time? Many of them take 10 minutes minimum to warm up to the correct temp...which is between 280 and 330 on the digital dial. 60 is not so bad for a run of the mill vape. Are we talking a box type?
If you have not done so next time turn it on, set it and wait 10.
If it doesn't work go out and get one of these:
which should run close to 90. I got one for 55 on sale so 60 can be ok. Temps can vary, like I said try 285 and work up from there. Don't go too high...you'll spark up and then you might as well be smoking. Find the right temp and let it heat up for 10. The dregs should look like tobacco when you are done.
If you are really vaping tobacco out of it then slap yourself around for being a dumbass.
Or so I've heard.

I need to get a vaporizer.
I enjoy smoking pot, but it's bad to inhale smoke regardless of where it comes from.
Maybe I can talk my wife into getting me one for my birthday. It isn't too far away.
How good are the highs? Better, worse or about the same?

It's different.
I have the Cadillac of all vaporizers, the Volcano. It's good but it doesn't get you stoned like a joint or bong does.
Some people enjoy it more, some less. I'm still on the fence. I like it cause it's much better for you, but I don't get plastered out of my mind like when I smoke a huge blunt.
If you like to just toke a bit and enjoy some gaming/movies/ chill time with the wife with a good high, I would say get one.

The highs are deeper and cleaner. You are not getting all the toxins that ignition creates. Another benefit is taste. You will taste what you smell so if you are dealing with kine the smell is precisely how it is going to taste from the vape.
Or so I've heard.
Edit -Tenkly you must be doing it wrong. The Vape should deliver all the high. It may be that you are so used to the extra buzz you get from all the carcinogens that you are not realizing that now you are getting a cleaner and often more head based high.

I strongly disagree with getting that type vape...I would bet thats what he already got they work but they are far from optimal...
Purple days :most efficient and best for personal use.around $160-189,only one couple makes them..there is always a waiting list to get one.
Silver surfer or DaBudda: heavy dense hits,like hitting a bong.$160-180
Volcano :very expensive best bag /party vape,$450-650
Airalizer(SP?) Q : best bag and whip combo.$200-240
