I broke up with my most recent girlfriend just a few minutes ago.
She is beautiful, smart, funny......but hell, she isn't the only woman out there that fits those descriptions.
I always assumed I'd know "the one" when I met her. I was wrong, there isn't "the one"....there are only a string of "the current one"'s. I'm good with that. Life is an adventure, I'm not ready to get to the end of it yet.
She had the most wonderful ass of any woman I ever met though. Sheer perfection. Gonna miss that

You and many others have a much better way with words than I. But to suggest what works for IMHO is 'the next level' and a better way and that you don't get what he's talking about is pure insanity... You have already been where he is, (been there done that) he hasn't been where you are.

sometimes experience (been there done that) makes you lose sight of what is important.. ex the doctor that is not thorough because he has seen your issue before. so that experience has in fact made his level drop rather than increase. experience misdirected is bad.

Right - but in the context of this thread...
If you were going through an experience such as IMHO would like everyone to experience, and it wasn't the end all be all for you and you kept on going - obviously that experience wasn't the end all be all for you...

i agree with people that say "its just sex". i assume the implication is sex is just a carnal pleasure and has little value when compared to a toght relationship.
the funny thing is people who go by the notion " its just sex" tend to forego meaningful relationships with people in order to keep having "just sex"... so in fact for them its really not "just sex". for them IT IS SEX.. its all about the sex. to me thats sad.
