MLK. This would seem to imply that in the entire history of this country he is the greatest individual.
He is not the greatest individual American though.
I wonder why he is the only individual American with his own holiday then.

Intended to honor, instruct and pacify.
Instructions to Blacks=Make waves big enough to threaten the shores of the established powers and you die.
Instructions to Whites=Feel good about respecting MLK and his works. You're a good person and you're not a racist because you recognize MLK as a great Black man. You will think of MLK as a Black man though and you wont ever realize why that's important.
