You are absolutely correct, Pt, about only CPAs being able to attest (audit-review or compile) financial statements. Im just finishing up an offer in compromise for a client who owed quite a bit. Both IRS and The State accepted. It took me almost 18 months


I have free advice for anyone who owes the IRS money and is self employed or a W-2 wage earner. They are making fresh start arrangements and abating penalties if you have been unemployed or earning have diminished. I dont want to get the link. I took today off work.
