Denver has one of the toughest schedules in the NFL next season. Out of the 16 games 12 are against pro bowl QBs

Elway's an idiot. He'll have about the same amount of luck that KC did with Joe Montana. And they're trading away the NFL's biggest story of 2011.

Miami has to sign someone. They don't even have a QB on their roster at this time, looks like they get to chose between old and busted David Garrard or young and weird Tim Tebow. Are there any other viable options for them out there?

Think they have a pretty low draft pick (8 or 9) maybe draft a rookie and pray if there are any other decent QB's in the draft this year....

I've even heard Tarvaris Jackson's name bandied about

I swear to God i will buy season tickets and burn them if they sign Tebow or Jackson.

They've also talked about trying to sign Alex Smith but I assume he'll stay in SF now that Peyton is a Bronco

Ryan Tannehill might still be around at pick number 8. He is pretty damn awesome as an athlete, led the team in receptions for a couple of years as a wide receiver and was quite good as a starting QB last year.

And Smith might not want to stick around in SF after they shopped him around so hard and chased after Manning. So that's a possibility.

Not sure what is wrong with Miami. They have a rich as hell owner who is willing to spend on talent, a decent coach, and a nice stadium and decent fan base (that is quickly dropping away however). Something is sick in that team however. No one seems to want to play for them, not sure if it's the GM or the coach or what...but they need to figure it out and fast.

Denver and Miami are both .

Tebow is not great, but if you're going to replace him choose someone that you can build a team around and is going to last you more than 3 weeks.

Meanwhile Miami has a love affair with Tebow. (You know you have no fan loyalty when the home team's fans go crazy for the opposing QB - not to mention the halftime honor ceremony.) Tebow is not great, but Miami doesn't have anything anyway, so a mediocre QB to go along with a mediocre team seems about right. I think the Dolphins gave up wanting to have a winning season (let alone make it to the playoffs) a long time ago.

And I really don't want to see Tebow at NE. Although maybe by simply being in the presence of Brady he can pick up some QB skills through osmosis or something.

I've heard Tannehill mentioned but the consensus seems to be that #8 is too high for him. I'd like to see Miami trade down if possible if that's the direction they're going in. Either way Tannehill's a project and may or may not pan out.

Smith would be an idiot not to sign with SF. Last I heard he was offered 3 years and $24 million. Nobody else is gonna give him that kind of scratch.

Wayne Huizenga was clueless. Bill Parcells left them in the lurch and placed all their eggs in Chad Henne's basket. Just horrible all around.

I fully expect them to sign Tebow. They'll but fannies in the stands (lots of Florida alumni in Miami Dade) and the team will suck for another 10+ seasons minimum.

Chad Pennington claims he is healthy and ready to play again. He might even last more than one play this time.
