The word moderate has virtually no meaning these days.

When someone says they're a moderate, most of them mean they aren't evangelicals or members of codepink.

Hhmm that is a fair point.
It definitely means different things to different people.
For myself it basically means both "No, I do not find you evil enough to perform an exorcism on, and No, I do NOT want butt sex, but thank you"

without Bush, there never could have been an Obama.


I just hope that Obama doesn't pave the way for a fringe whacko like Santorum. I've got a socialist teacher's union friend who is voting for Santorum in our primary because he is scared of Romney.


I asked him a terrifying question: What if Santorum wins? Santorum is a total nut, but I don't put his electibility that far behind Obama at this stage of the campaign in 2008.


I actually /shutter when I think about Santorum as President.
