I'm rereading the Wheel of Time.

I just finished Slaughterhouse 5 though, and would recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it yet.

1. What the... Why?

2. Slaughterhouse 5 is next in my audio queue. Read it years ago.

1) I'm trying to figure out where he went wrong, specifically. And what made him so successful. The short version is no one can relate to petty characters who are ungrateful and constantly manipulative. I think this seed is planted at the end of book 3 and grows in book 5. Yet the other characters are very interesting. I've taken some notes I'm going to post when I'm done.

2) Ethan Hawk does a superb job narrating.

I don't typo often, but when I do, I blame Swype.

A trilogy is the longest a continuing story can go in the written format and not lose its narrative focus.
