It seems pretty relevant to me. Have we so overtaxed our troops to the point where normal, nice, caring men will snap under the pressure? Will we see more of this as troops are deployed more and more? Perhaps we should cap the amount of tours these guys go on.

Tons of men are overtaxed
What I think happened is he and everyone over there knows that the Taliban pays average peopel to place land mines on roads. A buddy of his was injured by such a mine. He snapped and went and murdered the people he thought placed the mine which was people in the village.

He has been through a lot between all the deployments, the money problems and run ins with the law then his buddy gets badly hurt. this stuff can all add up, it doesn't matter how many times he has done fine while deployed or been examined, some people just reach a breaking point. Having said that had he not been drinking this might not have happened.

He wore night vision glasses and went door to door and he murdered nine children and many women. He is a monster. I dont appreciate how people are trying to explain his mass murder away and defend him

No excuse for what he did. These kids may be islamic brown people but they are just kids. I find the media disgusting. The spin for him is horrible.
